The Best Places to Stay for Luxury in Miami
Miami is a great destination for solo travelers as we have mentioned before. It is also a great destination for solo travelers who have a little more budget to spend too.
When to go to Miami
Miami is pretty much a year round destination particularly for those in the Northern states. Florida sits just north of the jet stream which brings in warm humid weather all year but if there was a great time to be there then we would recommend November thru April. At this time it is still warm enough to be on the beach but not too humid. The summer time is still fine for a vacation but it can get very humid. The shoulder seasons are also good times to go.
How to get to Miami
The Greater Miami Urban area has many entry points for anyone flying into the city. The main Miami International Airport is the obvious choice, particularly if you are coming from overseas but also do not discount as far a Orlando Airport which despite being a few hours away is still a good place to arrive to explore Florida and Miami is not too far away by road.
The well served Fort Lauderdale international airport is also an excellent entry point to the region particularly if you are flying from another US city. Jet Blue and other no frills airlines serves the whole Miami area.
