Better to go hungry than face the nightmare of enjoying a new dish and a relaxing time. 3) Do ... avoid speaking with other people at all costs. The opportunities to meet new friends, experience a different culture, relinquish your solitude, or just have fun are not worth the enormous task of saying, "Hello." 4) Don't ... visit any museums, art galleries, historical sites, etc. Everyone knows that learning, appreciating art, or absorbing ancient beauty requires the presence of at least one more person. To attempt any of the above alone would defeat the whole purpose (ie. broadening one's horizons).
